Something wrong? Tell a person.

Whether you run a business on Slate or you booked a trip through one, this is the way in. There is no ticket queue, no bot and no phone tree — one address, read by a human.

Write it up

Sending this hands your message to Slate’s mail provider and then tells you exactly what the provider said. If it does not go, you get the whole thing back here to copy — nothing you write is thrown away.

The only way anyone can answer you.

Optional. A reference like BKG-1042, or whose booking page you were on.

What you did, what you expected, what you got. Times and dates help.

You will see what the provider said, either way.

Or just email

support@slate-booking.com

This address does not run through Slate, so it works even if Slate is down, which is the point of printing it here rather than hiding it behind the form.

What helps

  • The booking reference (BKG-…) or the business name.
  • The date and time it happened, and your timezone.
  • What you expected, and what you got instead.
  • The exact wording of any error on screen.

Two things that are faster than us

Changing or cancelling a booking. The manage link you were given at checkout does it immediately, without anyone in the loop.

Refunds. The business you booked with holds the money and issues refunds from their own console — Slate never holds it. What you paid is the price they set, plus, if you paid by card and their total showed it, Slate’s booking fee as its own line. A refund returns the business’s price; the booking fee is not refunded. Contacting them directly is the shortest path; we can help you reach them if you are stuck.

Running a business on Slate?

Your public booking page stays open no matter what your account is doing — billing state never closes it. If a guest tells you otherwise, that is a bug and we want the reference.
